I was awakened by Jasmine last night, telling me she heard scampering footsteps, "like a mouse, only bigger." We turned on the light and saw nothing. Jasmine is worried it was a rat, a possibility I am not even considering in order to keep my sanity. I was exhausted and went right back to sleep. It was unusually cool here last night, I was actually cold during the night with the windows on and only one sheet so got a second sheet to wrap up in. I slept 10 hours without waking. The Ugandans are complaining but I loved it.
Just now Jasmine found a large insect under my bed. (Look for a picture next post). It was disgusting. And I spray Raid under the beds every night.
