Bonding to me is going excellently. Two signs of this are that yesterday, when we spent most of the day at the orphanage, Jessica clung to me and was tearful much of the time, and refused to talk to or smile at the staff, and would not participate in any of the usual activities. She was clearly afraid we would leave her there. The staff are extremely loving to the children, but it is not the same as having parents.
The second sign is that today she told me she loved me!
I'd say those are pretty good signs. Especially the second one!
