This whole experience has been such a challenge. I have been forced to do things I never wanted to do or thought I could do, like travel to Africa (but I'm glad I did!), live in "rustic" conditions for 3 weeks, convince two children to love me, be away from my family for FIVE weeks, survive a frightening experience in a 3rd world country, and travel across the world alone with 2 small children. I know now that all of the prayers on my behalf were powerful. Clearly, God alone gave me the strength to do all of these things. He is continuing to give me strength now that I have returned, as I struggle to get my household back to normal, to help my new children adjust to their new home, life and family, and to spend time with my biological children and help them adjust to having 2 new siblings arrive at once, all while struggling with a respiratory illness (that is STILL not gone!)
I think that the quote, "If God brings you to it, He will see you through it" sums it up.
Praising and thanking Him often!
